Angels vs. Dodgers
Cali has been pretty exciting for the most part, as you can probably guess by the number of photos I've posted this month. It was fun to go to my first professional baseball game at Dodgers stadium, thanks to Mike and Katy. Dodges won that night, but I didn't really care about watching the game as much as it was fun to have a brat and enjoy and evening ball game.

After our fun night out in SD, we got up early to head to South Mission Beach for a little BBQ. What a perfect day! At least I made it to the beach for fun in the sun once while living in Cali.

Happy Birthday, Carrie!!
I was fortunate enough to be able to head down to San Diego for a weekend to see a very dear old friend for her 26th birthday. We got dressed to the 9's (a bit easier after my training the previous weekend) and head a tastey Italian dinner before singing along at dueling pianos. I played wingman to my 3 single girlfriends. I didn't do too bad :) There are a few numbers (and kisses) exchanged by the end of the night.

VIP Treatment
Our little trip to Manhattan Beach to see a high school friend (hi Kelly) turned into quite the impressive evening as we had VIP bottle service at a swanky bar called Club 32. Thanks to our host, Steve, we had a fabulous dinner, excellent service, and some great tunes to groove to. I guess the make-over paid off :)

Going Out in Cali....requires a bit more work than I am acustomed to. It took a team of experts (Katy and Ali) to attempt to give this midwest girl a west coast make-over. You men have no idea what lengths we must go to make it out of the house looking 'acceptable'. But it was fun, so thank you girls! This was prior to our big night out in Manhattan Beach.
